This Enphase AC Protection Box with Q Relay is designed for large single-phase residential solar installations equipped with Enphase IQ7 or IQ8 microinverters. Enphase microinverters provide a smart, reliable, and easy-to-install solar solution for optimized solar power generation.

Why is this box essential?

This Enphase Q Relay enclosure enables the mandatory physical decoupling of Enphase microinverters from the power grid, in accordance with the DIN VDE 0126-1-1 VFR2019 solar photovoltaic standard. In the event of a grid problem, the Enphase Q Relay instantly isolates your solar installation to protect it. As soon as the grid returns to normal, the Q Relay automatically reconnects your solar panels.

Enphase microinverters can disconnect electronically in 20ms, but this electronic disconnection does not meet the French standard which requires physical decoupling. The Enphase Q relay is therefore essential!

Main Features

The Enphase AC Protection Box with Q Relay is specifically designed for single-phase residential solar installations. It integrates two single-phase Enphase Q Relay decoupling relays as well as a 30mA residual current circuit breaker and two 20A circuit breakers. In addition, it includes a 2A circuit breaker for powering the Envoy-S gateway. Its IP65-rated waterproof enclosure allows it to be mounted outdoors.

Important Note
