APSystems DS3 and DS3L Micro Inverter
The 3rd generation of APsystems Duo microinverters offer an output power of up to 730 VA or 880 VA, ideal for high-power photovoltaic modules. Featuring 2x independent MPPTs and encrypted Zigbee communication, the DS3L and DS3 are compatible with the QS1 and YC600 microinverters. They integrate a feature called RPC (Reactive Power Control) to efficiently manage photovoltaic power peaks in the grid.
Choosing a microinverter based on your solar panel
Check the open circuit voltage (Uoc) and maximum power voltage (Umpp) of your solar panel to choose between DS3L and DS3. The DS3L series is recommended for panels from 250 to 485 Wp, while the DS3 is suitable for panels beyond 485 Wp up to 660 Wp.
Compliance with standards and safety
The DS3 and DS3L microinverters comply with EN and IEC standards, with an integrated VDE126-1-1/A1 VFR2019 decoupling relay. They do not require grounding thanks to their internal galvanic isolation . The new architecture offers 50% higher power and a maximum conversion efficiency of 97% .

- 5x DS3 per power line (i.e. 10x panels max)
Power and Compatibility
The DS3L is compatible with panels from 255 to 550 Wp, while the DS3 can support panels from 300 to 660 Wp. They feature 2x independent MPPT trackers , a low MPPT range of 28 to 45 V , and encrypted Zigbee communication. For three-phase, specific configurations are required.
To do three-phase with these single-phase inverters:
3x different balanced single-phase lines must be provided APs DS3/DS3-L Micro-inverters and remember to add 4x Measuring Toroids to the ECU-C Gateway + 3x 20A single AC boxes for APS
